Government Publication Number(s): ex-NL-1604 http://vuurtorensinnederland.nl/wieringermeer-zeughoek/ http://www.ibiblio.org/lighthouse/nln.htm The original 1918 Den Oever harbor lighthouse was relocated to Zeughoek (NL-1604) in 1930. On this location a light was needed to permanently mark newly gained land (200 km²) and to guide maritime traffic away from the dyke. After years of operation the tower was replaced in 1969 by a new tower of the same design with a modern lantern at 16 m with a red-white beam, range 9-10 nm. Some websites call the replacement a replica. The lights of De Ven (NET-003), Den Oever (1885 tower NET-006) and Zeughoek are decommissioned together in the year 2009. All objects are still there.
