| The light has been activated with my call I2JJR/6 and special call II2SRT/6 for the Strange Radio Event 2009 . I'm a member of the SRT Strange Radio Team dx club . Operation done using a 9m high fishing rod coiled with 11m of 2x2,5mm copper wire as a vertical antenna, ATU Icom AH-4 at the base, antenna fixed to a Guard-Rail also used as a counterpoise, together with 5 radials for various bands and some ground stakes. The rig was Icom IC7000 powered by two car-type batteries , 12V 60Ah . Operations were on HF phone . Bad mild weather with some rain and light wind. Propagation could have been better, hi.
